So if your like me, you haven’t quite got your fill on Vegas chocolate. Well here is the cities oldest chocolate establishment. Have you ever heard of the MARS brand of chocolates? They are the makers of Snickers, M&M’s, Milky Way, Mars Bars, 3 Musketeers, and many many more chocolates and other candies and gums we all enjoy daily.

Ethel M’s (the “M” stands for Mars) is in Henderson just a few miles southwest of the Vegas Strip off Sunset. This small factory produces and sells the Ethel M. fine chocolate brand you’ll find in high end chocolate stores both in Vegas and around the U.S. Recently and for a short period of time they have been manufacturing the Original Mars Bar. This is the same Mars Bar Forrest Mars Sr. produced when the Mars Company first started making chocolate bars back in the early 1900’s.

So what you’ll find at this factory is a short self guided tour and candy store, which you can either create your own assorted box of chocolates or chose from one of the many single or mixed box choices already prepacked.

For those of you who want to take it all in and learn how the chocolates are made, their are 2 types of tasting tours you can signup for on the Ethel M. website. The first tour is purely a chocolate tasting, while the second is a chocolate and wine paring tasting. Both tastings occur 5 times a day opposing each other from 10 am to 7 pm. Go to the Ethel M. website to schedule your tasting and check for the price of each tour.
